Which is not to say my new home in TN doesn't have its own brand of beauty, but...
“It seems like there has been a real lack of narratives out there about the experiences of those who love those in the military, especially this time around...This beautiful and stark novel by Kristen J. Tsetsi makes real the agonizing waiting...” - feministing.com

That is beautiful...
We're getting to a season here in IL that I'm glad I moved back for =)
I do miss all that stuff now that we're in California. Well, most of it. I don't miss driving in or shoveling snow. (But when I was a kid, I loved it. Snow, that is. Not shoveling.)
In other news, "Homefront" has percolated to the top of my reading list, so I'll be starting it tomorrow at lunch. Assuming I get one.
I miss it and I've never been! Great pictures! :)
MIA: We're just now getting some leaves changing in TN...it'll be gorgeous in another couple of weeks. I used to live in an ugly part of TN that spoiled my opinion of the state. Now I live in pretty part, and TN has been redeemed. :)
DENNIS the VIZSLA: No one misses shoveling. However, it's great exercise. Ahh, why, just two winters ago I was chip, chip, chipping away at 6-inch thick driveway ice with a metal shovel. Good times.
And, cool! I hope you enjoy.
NIT: Thank you!
All but the first one... I can do without all the snow on the road!
